Thomas comes from a working middle-class family in PA. He’s demonstrated leadership since the first days of our relationship and has proven both on and off the ice that he is a difference-maker in our community. Thomas has a sister who is mentally challenged, but from speaking with him and watching him play; no one would ever know. Thomas spends as much time with his family as possible while juggling an intense school schedule, travel hockey at an elite level, and his commitment to our school program.

Of all the players’ I’ve had the privilege to coach in my career; Thomas is a perfect example of a leader. He puts people in his community first; is willing to have difficult conversations that produce a greater outcome for the group; and is one of the most selfless young athletes I have ever coached. I consider myself lucky to be able to learn from his humility, passion, and work ethic every time we are together.
