Thomas has been a back up goaltender for the Pirates for 3 years and has done so with class and grace and a smile on his face every day. He shows up to the rink with a positive attitude and works hard to not only improve his game but those around him, including his goaltending partner. Whether he is starting or not he only wants success for his teammates and that says a lot about him as a person. Thomas is the type of person who does things the right way and never cuts corners. Though he is not the most vocal leader, he is a rock in our locker room and when he speaks everyone listens. Thomas is more than deserving of this award and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
