Kennett High School has only a boys varsity ice hockey team due to its size and no girls teams.
This team particiaptes in the very competitive Inter County Scholastic Hockey League

Taylor Cullen, in her sophomore year was able to make the varsity boys team and was a contributor both on and off the ice.

Going into her senior year, she was nominated assistant captain of the team by her peers and coaches.
Taylor plays a very competitive and rigorous Girls Tier 1 schedule that takes her to places such as Boston, Toronto, Detroit and all across the East Coast.
She is also a referee and volunteers locally
She will be attending Neumann University next year to play Division III hockey and study.
In the end, in her words “I love my high school teamâ€_x009d_ .
She has shown true dedication to this team missing other social and sports obligations to be present.
She runs the social media account for the team, has not missed a game in three years.
She shows true dedication to the team, it’s coaches and most of all, her teammates.
Taylor would be an excellent candidate for the award.
