As a member of the New Prague Girls Varsity Hockey team, Syndey leads by example on the ice and in the classroom. As an outstanding player and team leader, she earns the respect of her team and coaches because of her consistent positive attitude and work ethic. Sydney handles herself with confidence and integrity and has tremendous commitment to and appreciation for her teammates. Syd is also active in the hockey community, volunteering her time with the New Prague girls youth hockey program. Her community spirit, coachability, and leadership make her an excellent recipient of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
