Sydney Schuman was an assistant captain this season. She has always been a leader during her time with the Stars. She is not only a leader, but a positive role model for all of her teammates. Sydney always works hard, has great sportsmanship and has a genuine love for the game that you can see not only in games, but everyday in practice. She represents the team on and off the ice by always being respectful to other teams, coaches, and her surroundings.
