Stephen broke the record for most saves in the high school. He eclipsed 2,500 saves for his high school career. Stephen’s consistent respect for the game, opposing players, coaches, and officials, is known throughout the league. He is a charismatic, energetic player who simply loves to play. He has a thorough understanding that there is much more to the game of hockey than pure talent. His uncanny ability to relate to fans, opposition, administration and authoritative figures cannot be matched by any of his peers. Stephen deserves to be honored by this award and will certainly portray to his underclassmen what it truly means to be a captain, a leader, and a player.
