Shane has been the heart of our team all year. This is the first year that we’ve had a pure team for a while and, as a senior, has embraced his role as leader of the team. He is consistently the first one on and last one off the ice at practice, rallies his teammates through games, and exemplifies what it means to be an Upper Dublin Cardinal. When Shane had surgery earlier in the season, his presence and leadership was missed, but he continued to attend games to cheer his team on. Since his return, he has brought a stabilizing presence to the lineup and can be relied upon to play any position and any time of the game.
