Ryland has developed into a great leader on his team over the years.  He has great passion for the game and I feel that he instills it in the younger players on and off the ice.  He is involved in other sports and after school activities that help better him and the community in which he lives.  From helping mites learn how to skate and singing for the school chorus at various places throughout the community Ryland is a true testament to the character of Hobey Baker.
