Rayn has demonstrated all the characteristics of the Hobey Baker Award. Ryan has been with our program for 4 years and as a freshmen put his own development on hold by volunteering to play goalie as our program did not have enough goalies. He demonstrated the highest level of being a team player and took one for the team. Ryan is playing his first year of varsity hockey as a senior and is contributing as a forward, defensemen, penalty killer and can still play goalie if needed. His work ethic is 2nd to none and is one of the most positive, coachable and unselfish players to come through the Wings program. He is defiantly worthy of this award.
