Ryan Castellano is a 3 year varsity player who for the 3 years of playing ice hockey for Glen Rock High School has demonstrated all of the characteristics required of this award. Ryan is always making the right choices.  He played clean, hard nosed hockey as a fore-checker on our 3rd line. Ryan is always putting team first on and off the ice.  Ryan was always pitching in with volunteer work. He is a solid student off the ice. There is a can do, relentless spirit about Ryan.  He is not big in stature, but always played with the biggest heart on the ice.  He is neither boisterous nor over confident. Ryan has always led by example and hard work. I am proud to nominate Ryan for this years Hobey Baker Character Award for Glen Rock High School Ice Hockey.
