Ruston has been a role model and positive influence for his team, teammates, coaches and family.  Ruston brings to everything he does an attitude that seeks excellence in every undertaking.  He strives to be the best he can be while holding the principles of hard work, sportsmanship and integrity at the forefront.  Ruston is a young man that embraces all that the High School experience  has to offer.  He is an accomplished drummer in the award winning High School Band as well as an exceptional player and leader of his hockey team.  Ruston embodies all of the ideals that the Hobey Baker High School Character Award stands for,
