The criteria for this award reads like a biography of Rosie Pitera.  Rosie struggled for three years to become a full-time varsity player.  Her positive attitude and hard work never wavered.  She put in significant work to bring her skills to the varsity level.  Her perseverance was inspiring to her coaches and teammates.  She is coachable, hard working, and community-oriented.  Our team was lucky to have Rosie.
