I’d like to nominate Robert Magnotta for the prestigious Hobey Baker High School Character Award. As a senior on Morristown Beard School’s hockey team, Robert has consistently exemplified the core values that this award represents: coachability, strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork, community service, and outstanding sportsmanship.
From the first time he stepped on the ice, Robert demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the team, always putting others before himself and leading by example. Whether in practice, games, or the locker room, he brings a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic, and a deep respect for teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.

Beyond his performance on the ice, Robert is a role model in the community. He actively participates in community service, reinforcing the importance of giving back and supporting others.

Robert Magnotta embodies the very essence of what it means to be a student-athlete, representing the sport of hockey with honor and integrity. It is without hesitation that I nominate him for this well-deserved recognition.
