This student athlete deserves the Hobey Baker High School Character Award because he embodies all that a high school student athlete should be. Robert not only stays focused on his studies in the classroom, but he also leads his team outside the classroom as well. Rob also helped organize the Pink the Rink hockey game the last two seasons. He paired up with the American Cancer Societies Coaches Versus Cancer organization to help raise money for breast cancer research. Between the two years he has been involved, the team has raised over $3,600.00. Robert leads by example, respects his teammates, and looks for teachable moments in both practices and games. He is the definition of a leader and is of the highest character.
