Rob Bastone is a leader in every sense of the word. He has been a captain of the ice hockey team for 2 season, a varsity player for 4, and a model student for his entire academic career. Not only does he help with our annual breast cancer awareness fund raiser, but he regularly has the lowest amount of penalty minutes on the team while logging some of the most minutes. Teachers, coaches, teammates, and officials see Robert as a model high school student athlete. For all these reasons, he deserves the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
