Reggie Lutz
2015 | Minnesota | BOYS
Elk River High School | Elks | BOYS
I’m writing this letter to nominate Reggie Lutz for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award. Reggie truly does exemplify the term character and all of its meanings. The senior forward always puts the team before himself. Reggie is an extremely hard working student athlete who excels in tremendous leadership qualities both on and off the ice. Reggie is looked up to by his peers and by an abundance of youth hockey players in our association. It is very apparent to me as a teacher and a coach that Reggie is extremely coachable, very unselfish, and a tremendous role model in our community. When I hear the name Reggie Lutz, I say he is someone who exemplifies hard work, great leadership, a great friend and role model, but most importantly a winner both on and off the ice. He is someone who is going to contribute to our society in a very positive way. I’m very pleased to have had the opportunity to get to know Reggie and very fortunate to have coached him as a student athlete. I am very honored to nominate Reggie Lutz for this very prestigious award.
