Quinn exemplified every one of the Hobey Baker awards requisites.

He was coachable for all 4 years, taking feedback into his game and driving home the coaching staff’s messages.
Quinn holds himself to a high standard, and his character showed numerous times this season… he came to the need of his players and coaches and always spoke his heartfelt mind on the happenings of our day to day.
Quinn’s integrity and commitment is second to none. He maintains an obscenely high GPA, volunteers and assists with local organizations and events, and still makes sure he is in the best competition shape he can be in.
Quinn drives a lot of messages directly from the coaches to the captains and is a benchmark example of the teamwork needed to be a successful Captain and Hobey Baker award winner.
Quinn is a beacon of volunteering in our community and takes pride in ushering the new generation of hockey players into our game.
Mr. O’Connell is bound by the hockey player code, expecting the best of his opponents and giving his own best. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and in our case, his captaincy on his chest.
