Paige Olson has been selected as the 2017-2018 River Lakes Stars’ Hobey Baker award winner because of her outstanding qualities as a teammate and a leader. Paige’s selflessness, work ethic, and positive attitude both on and off the ice has earned the respect of her teammates and coaches and resulted in her being named a team captain this season. She is also a gifted student who has earned academic all-state honors in this her senior year. Paige will be sorely missed next season but will undoubtedly do great things with her many talents.
