Owen is the ultimate teammate and leads in every moment through his actions and words. In the team’s toughest moment as a sophomore Owen led the way by shaving his head to have his teammates follow suit in support of his friend and teammate Cormick Scanlon. When Mick ultimately lost his battle, Owen has been instrumental in keeping Mick top of mind for his teammate. He has organized fundraisers, continued to shave his head on the anniversary, and memoralized Mick on his helmet. Owen is a fierce competitor that keeps Culture and his teammates at his core. He has done his best to keep his back-ups engaged and takes pride in being a mentor. I will miss Owen’s selfless personality and his never ending compassion. He is a truly a shining star at CDH and someone that embodies what it means to be a Raider.
