Oscar Lonaeus has been a valued team member of the DC Stars High School Hockey Program for three years.  During his tenure with the team he has grown as a leader both on the ice and inside the locker room.  His positive attitude is reflected in his willingness to accept different roles on the ice whether playing on the top line or strengthening other lines, or even playing defense to balance out a lineup.  Oscar participates fully in both on ice and off ice workouts and practices and is always willing to help his teammates improve.  Oscar was one of the least penalized players on the team, and is always reliable on the ice during critical moments in a game.  Oscar can always be counted on to represent the team in a positive manner and has assisted the program in growing through the recruitment of players.
