Noah, from the earliest age you caught my eye and won my heart.  I’ve seen and coached very few hockey players with the IQ, skill, and quiet tenacity that you have exhibited from the youngest of ages.  From the start you exhibited leadership skills beyond your peers.  It’s ironic that while other players (until this super-star season) grabbed more of the lime-light, you quietly toiled doing a lot of the heavy lifting that often goes unnoticed, however this coaching staff always noticed your efforts and we were simply waiting for the explosion sure to come in your senior year, where you would stand atop all other forwards here in West Michigan.

Noah, if I were to cast you as an actor in the often quoted hockey movie “Miracle” about the glorious 1980 Gold Medal US Men’s Hockey Team, you would certainly be Mark Johnson, the most talented, hard working of all the forwards, the player that made everyone around them better.  If I were to affiliate you with an NBA Great Basketball Player, you would be Magic Johnson, always raising your game, while raising others around you. Noah you stand as one of our program’s Top 5 all-time forwards, you have played the game the right way, from the defensive zone out, with passion, pride and a will compete that others learned to emulate.
