Nikolai made an immediate impression during pre-season workouts and demonstrated himself as wanting to be a leader of the team. Chosen as one of our two Captains, Nikolai consistently delivered through the season when called upon for both on-ice and off-ice leadership qualities.

His commitment to the game, to the team and to the program were apparent as he continually demonstrated respect and sportsmanship. His versatility allowed the coaching staff to use him in defensive and offensive positions without any questions or debate. His never ending energy and enthusiasm sparked the team when needed.

The Abington team had a successful season and relied heavily on Nikolai to be a leader and contributor….both of which he succeeded.
