Nicholas Horvot, a Senior forward, has been the definition of hard work, integrity, character, and teamwork this season for the Manasquan Ice Hockey Team. After losing his entire Junior year to a season ending injury, Nick came into this season with a positive attitude and the willingness to do the work needed to help the team be successful. Nick played back on defense for the team early in the season when some key defenseman were missing due to injury, etc. He then transitioned back up to forward where he played every game with a defensive mindset, contributing to the overall success of the team game in and game out. He attended all practices and games and only missed a couple times due to illness during the season. His positive attitude and willingness to help his teammates was apparent at all times as he would help out his teammates by giving them rides home from the rink and was always willing to help the coaches and players in any way he could. He was always a positive voice on the bench and in the locker room and will be missed next season.
