Nick is the embodiment of the scholar athlete.  Throughout his four years at University Liggett School he has maintained high academic standards and played on the varsity hockey, football, and lacrosse teams.  Nick has served as a leader in his play on the ice and in his actions off the ice.  During his junior season, the team finished with a 20-7 record as Nick compiled two goals and 19 assists.  However, the most impressive aspect about this campaign was that Nick was a part of only a three person defensive corps due to multiple injuries.  Despite double shifting and being a fixture on the power play and penalty kill units, Nick found a way to be effective and help the team find success.  Through 23 games this season, Nick has contributed one goal and 23 assists, while continuing to log extensive minutes and anchoring our power play and penalty kill units.  In addition to his contributions on the ice, Nick serves as one of the team captains who are helping 14 freshman and sophomore players learn the “Knighthood” that defines the Liggett hockey program.
