You know the person you want to go into battle with? Mitch is that guy. He’s dependable, unselfish, productive, and humble. He is what hockey is. Mitchell also excels as a player and role model. He was our starting goalie for three years before unselfishly moving to a forward position to give us more scoring power. He never complained and always followed coaches’ directions. He held his head high as a member of our team in glory and defeat. Mitchell produced on the ice as a member of our JV and Varsity teams. Mitchell Daro is everything the Hobey Baker award embodies.
