Mitchell is a standout senior athlete who was relied on heavily throughout all facet’s of the game. Mitchell’s ability to skate with the puck out of the defensive zone and join the offensive rush was valuable to our team. Mitchell was on the 1st power play unit throughout the year, and is the first defenseman off the bench to kill penalties. Not only is Mitchell a great hockey player, but he is a great overall person, well rounded with outstanding character. Mitchell will make you laugh, is well liked by everyone around the team, and keeps the locker room loose. Mitchell is highly deserving of this award, and we are so proud to have a senior who resembles Hobey Bakers qualities.
