Mike Skarbek from Bishop Stang High School is the epitome of a team player exhibiting the traits that the Hobey Baker Character Award stands for: integrity, a positive attitude, coachability outstanding sportsmanship, and community spirit.  Mike, one of our tri-captains,  was moved to forward this season from his normal defense position to solidify our team up front and he competed as hard as he could game in and game out and never complained.  It is this type of unselfish sacrifice that defines his commitment to our program and exemplifies his character.
