Mike epitomizes the character that coaches want to see in their athletes. He is not the most talented player on our team, but he shows the most drive and determination. After suffering an unfortunate head injury, Michael has remained with the team and supported his teammates from the bench, from the lockerroom, and the stands. He has every reason to sulk or bring a poor attitude to the rink everyday, but instead, leads his teammates through his words and example.
