This athlete has been selected for the 2018 Hobey Baker award for his character, sportsmanship and passion for the game of hockey. Michael has excelled on and off the ice as our team captain and has brought together a group of young men to achieve the same goal, the desire to play hockey at a high level. Over the past 4 years Michael has shown a dedicated commitment towards the game and has given an unparalleled effort each time he hits the ice whether practice or game. He has listened to instruction and dedicated himself to getting better at his craft all while maintaining the integrity of the game. He is the ideal candidate for this award and deserves this distinction with the utmost respect of his coaching staff and teammates
