Michael Bridges
2015 | Ohio | BOYS
Gilmour academy | Lancers | BOYS
Being a goalie is stressful enough, add being a leader on the team which struggles to score goals, and it takes a person with great interpersonal skills, confidence and toughness to hold things together, all while stopping 92% of the shots he faces.
Michael has been with us for three of his four high school years, living in the Murphy Resident Hall as one of our dorm students. He has recently been accepted at a number of schools and has chosen Western Michigan. While Michael is undersized by today’s standard for goalending, he stands tall on and off the ice and an excellent representative for our Hobey Baker Award.
