Megan has been a 4 year starter on the Dedham Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Team. She is extremely coachable and a true team player.
She was elected captain this year by her teammates and coaches. She displays a high level of respect for opposing players, coaches, officials, her teammates and coaches. She strives to do her best in the classroom and on the ice.
She is an Honor student and has participated in the schools Leadership program.
On the ice, Meg has been one of our top centers and is a top forward on our penalty kill unit. She is quick and smart on the ice, which gives her an advantage.
Meg has also been involved in the community by participating in the annual leaf rake, an instructor at the learn to skate program, and a camp instructor.
It is my pleasure to nominate Megan Corrado for the 2015 Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
