Megan is a most deserving Hobey Baker Character Award recipient. She exhibits all of the traits that the award represents. Megan is a versatile two-way player who generally plays forward but willingly drops back to defense for penalty kills and whenever needed. She is our hardest worker and tenaciously back-checks and competes until she wins the battle. She is also one of our top scorers and play-makers. Megan is as good a leader off the ice as she is on the ice. She is a high character young person who always does the right thing in every situation. She has been instrumental in our team’s growth and success and has been a tremendous mentor to our young players.
