A Senior Assistant Captain and a 3 year Letterman, Matt a senior leader, would help with the incoming freshmen during pre-season conditioning and take part in off field fundraising events.

On ice he was our only senior defensemen this season who suffered a shoulder injury half way through the season, but that did not stop him from carrying out his responsibilities on the ice.

In school Matt maintained his grades above a 3.0 GPA.
