Matt has played 4 years for Sherwood at the Varsity level as a defensemen, and served as team Captain during both his junior and senior years. He has been a linchpin for the team since day one.  Matt has embodied what a hockey player should be in the locker room, on the ice and in the class room.  Countless times throughout his career I have had to be reminded that he was still a Sophomore or a Junior because of his maturity and leadership.
