Mary exemplifies the qualities of what the Hobey Baker Award and Hobey Baker himself possess. She holds a strong sense of community, not only for her team on and off the ice but she belongs to a community service club as well. She has changed and stepped into positions on the team without question, doing whatever she can for the benefit of the team. She’s extremely coachable taking any little pointers and executing them almost immediately working hard to be her best self in that role. She has an extreme passion for the game and her work ethic is outstanding. Her character, sportsmanship, and integrity make her this years Hobey Baker Award recipient.
