Marky has been a leader since he made the team as a freshman. Not an outspoken loud mouth, but one that leads by example and works his tail off up and down the ice. He understands what it means to sacrifice. Was a fantastic pentaly killer. Undersized, but that did not stop him from playing above his weight class. He dug in the corners and did not shy away from contact. Knew how to give and take a hit. Led the team in blocked shots. Will miss him on our roster. Wish more players had a heart as big as his. Great teammate. Competitive. Loved the game, and loved his teammates, and making sure they were also enjoying their experiences while also working hard.
