Mario has had a love of hockey since he was a young child. He has always been very passionate about the sport. He started playing when he was 9 years old and has been playing ever since. He is a team player in every sense of the word. He is always willing to help a new player, whether it is taping a stick or showing a new teammate a new play, he is always willing to help in any way he can. During games he is very coachable and listens to anything he is told to do even if he has to serve a penalty for another player. He will always listen to the coach with no questions asked. He also shows good sportsmanship by having friendships with opposing teammates on and off the ice. He is always trying to improve his skills even during the off season, he never misses a stick and puck or pick-up game and encourages his teammates to join him whenever possible.
