After suffering an injury that forced her to miss her entire junior year, Maggie never stepped away from the team. She attended every practice, rode every bus, and supported her teammates in any way she could, even when she could not contribute on the ice. At the same time, she worked toward the goal of returning for her senior year. Her perseverance, selflessness, and unwavering dedication reflect the spirit of Herb Brooks and make her deeply deserving of this award.
