Flem is respected by her teammates and opponents because she plays the game with such intensity. She does whatever she can to help her team. She blocks shots, kills penalties, scores goals – whatever. She is a positive vocal presence on the ice and off the ice. She is always communicating with her teammates and pumping them up. She lifts up underclassmen and JV players and treats everyone with the same level of kindness and respect.
Flem played JV as a sophomore, and Varsity as a Junior and Senior and was nominated captain by her teammates for her senior season.
