Luci has been a two-year captain for the NDA cougars. She has been instrumental is the grow of our young players by leading not only by example but by leadership and hard work. Luci is always one of the first girls on the ice for practice and one of the last girls to leave the ice after practice. She is dedicated to the school and her classroom work as well. Luci is always available for young girls to help them in school and deal with the social issues that young girls go through on a day-to-day basis at any high school. Her common ground fixes are what separates her from many of her upper classman teammates. Luci delivers on every promise, and she is one of the hardest workers on and off the ice. She has been reaching out to college coaches since July of her junior year and it’s been a very big process. There is no doubt in my mind that Luci will be playing hockey at the next level and continue to lead her team no matter where the school she attends for college. There is no one on my team who deserves Hobey Baker more than Luci DelGallo.
