Lily is an outstanding multi sport athlete as well as an outstanding student. She plays ice hockey as a secondary sport and is a captain and a leader. She also is committed to growing the girls hockey team at her school with offseason fund raising, recruiting in the lower schools and she volunteers to teach the game to younger girls. We are a relatively new varsity sport in a school dominated by boys athletics and Lily is striving to get us on an equal field of popularity in the school. I couldn’t think of anyone on my team more deserving of an honor like this one.
