Lily’s determination to play high school hockey is why she succeeded in having a terrific high school experience. Her ability to deal with not playing every game and keeping a positive attitude everyday in practice was admirable. Her caring personality and mature attitude was why her teammates voted her captain. Her love of the game and determination to be apart of a team has taught underclassmen and helped her teammates get through tough times. Lily McGourty is the essence of what Hobey Baker stood for. Her Character and sportsmanship is second to none!
