Lillian was voted for this award by her teammates. She is very active within the community and enjoys spending her free time helping the younger girls out on the ice. She was not voted for captain her senior year, however, she exudes so much leadership on the team that all of her teammates looked up to her. She always came in every day to practice or games with a positive attitude and even when the season was going tough, she always found ways to lift the spirits of her teammates. She also was a very coachable and versatile player. Whether the coaches needed her to play forward or defense, so took her role seriously and with a positive attitude. She truly had the mindset of “I’ll take on whatever role is needed of me to help the team”.
