Leo is truly the model teammate. In the months before his senior season, Leo suffered an injury that required surgery that would keep him out for most of the season. He was understandably devastated. Despite his disappointments, he showed up to practices and games with positive energy, acting like another coach on staff. He gave one-on-one pep talks his teammates and cheered them on from outside the glass. I have never seen an injured player lead a team so effectively. He finally made it back onto the ice and has had a tremendous second half of the season.
