A high performer on the ice, Kristen has embodied the spirit of the game and what produces great people, not just great hockey players. Kristen’s contributions were felt as the team played a very challenging schedule this season where each player was asked to push themselves harder in practice, and also in games. Kristen contributed consistently all seasons by putting up points, excelling on special teams, especially penalty kills, but her biggest impact was being able to bring the team together. In her second year as captain, Kristen was able to continue to grow as a leader and adjust to integrate a talented young team. Her efforts culminated in a championship win at the Upland Invitational Tournament, a historic first for the organization. Kristen has always been an excellent student, which sets an example for the rest of the team to perform at a high level scholastically. Kristen is an absolute force for our team, and her development as a leader has strengthened the resolve this young, yet resilient, group.
