Kierra demonstrates the best qualities of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award among her team. Kierra’s positive attitude on and off the ice has transpired through her teammates in a positive manner despite the struggles we have had winning games this season. Kierra’s relentless hard work is appreciated upon her teammates because no matter what the scoreboard reflected, she never quit. Aside from hockey,her dedication in the classroom speaks for itself. Kierra works just as hard if not harder in and out of the classroom as she does on and off the ice. I have always been extremely impressed by Kierra’s dedication and desire to better herself everyday not only as a hockey player and a  leader to her teammates but as a student in the classroom as well.
