Countdown to Hobey:

Kenoy Craft

2023 | Maryland | BOYS

Northern High School | Patriots | BOYS

Kenoy Craft was born into a ice hockey loving family; thus quickly developed a love for the game. At 4 years old he learned how to ice skate and at 6 years old joined a club mites team. Unfortunately, after his 1st year of play, Kenoy was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome and had to stop playing the sport.
That didn’t stop Kenoy’s drive to participate and contribute to the game he loves. He took on a position as bench manager for a club team and thereafter a USA Hockey Student Coach. Kenoy coached U-12s & U-14s as a Student Coach.
Currently, as a senior at Northern High School in Owings, MD, Kenoy is the Forward Coach for his high school team.
Kenoy has a high passion to develop ice hockey players on and off the ice. He leads by example in the classroom and at the ice rink. Throughout his 4 years coaching at NHS, Kenoy has demonstrated high character under normal and adverse circumstances. He shows great respect for players, officials, coaches and parents. We all can learn from Kenoy’s high-standard of character.
NHS proudly nominates Kenoy Craft for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award.
Sincerely,
Coach Brian McNamee, Coach Hunter McNamee & Coach Stacey Craft
