As a member of the Shakopee Girls Varsity Hockey team, Kelly leads by example on the ice, in the locker room, and in the classroom.  As an outstanding player and team leader, she earns the respect of her team and coaches because of her consistent positive attitude and work ethic.  Kelly handles herself with confidence and integrity and has tremendous commitment to and appreciation for her teammates.  Kelly is also active in the hockey community, regularly volunteering her time with the Shakopee girls youth hockey program.  Her community spirit, coachability, and leadership make her an excellent recipient of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
