Keegan has been an outstanding hockey player all four years with Chantilly.  He has been in the top three in the league in terms of goals and points during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons and will most likely lead the league in goals and possibly points his senior year.

Keegan is a leader by example in terms of both his on-ice play as well as his off-ice demeanor.  While he is soft-spoken, his level of hustle is contagious and as a result, he sets a standard of determination which all of his teammates strive to achieve.  He is the consummate team player and his abilities open up scoring opportunities not only for himself, but for his linemates as well.

Off the ice, Keegan is polite and humble, one of the nicest kids you’ll ever meet.  His academic achievement is impressive as well as Keegan has earned NVSHL all-academic honors each of his four years at Chantilly.  

For these reasons, Keegan Kelly receives the Chantilly ice hockey club’s 2014-15 Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
