Keagan was selected to represent Thomas Worthington High School, because he embodies all values of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award, including coachability, commitment to the team, and integrity in everything he does, both on and off the ice! Keagan has been a dedicated member of Thomas Worthington Hockey for the past four seasons, committing himself to the culture and the ideals of the team! He has worked hard to mentor younger players and ensure everyone feels at home within the team. From a coaching perspective, Keagan has embodied all values of coachability that are necessary in a high school athlete, and he continues to ask questions and grow his hockey IQ.

Outside of ice hockey, Keagan has also committed himself to community service and academics, emerging as a leader who continually encourages his teammates to be the best they can be in the larger community. With the highest GPA on the team, paired with one of the largest hours volunteered in the community, Keagan’s ability to impact the lives of others is seen in every way! As an ideal person of character, both in hockey, and throughout life in general, we are honored to nominate Keagan for this award!
